Are the flight tickets done? Is the accommodation booked? Is the itinerary finished? Are the bookings done for activities? Am I carrying all the things I would need? Am I all set to travel?

Every time I plan for a holiday, I ponder on these questions. I am sure you do too! I thoroughly enjoy the process of planning our trips. There is a joy in discovering things about the place we are visiting, trying to find the best deals, figuring out how to soak in the culture and food of the destination. I also enjoy sharing my experiences and travel stories with friends and family.

Through this blog, I would like to create a platform where the readers can read through my travel stories and find inspiration for their future travel destinations.

More about myself..

I went to college in Goa, India and those were 4 memorable years! You know how there are two kinds of people, one kind loves the mountains and another loves the ocean. I totally belong to the second kind! I love watching the waves. In 2016, I moved to Massachusetts, USA and completely fell in love with New England. Having lived in South India for most of my life, I got to experience fall colors and snow for the first time here and those experiences left me mesmerized.

Coming to my travel style, I travel with my husband mostly during weekends and our time-off-from-work. I am yet to try a vacation which is longer than 10 days, but I am very happy with the short trips I take. I tend to miss my routine after a while and I believe it keeps me sane. I absolutely LOVE exploring food in the places I visit and make sure to dedicate at least a couple of meals trying out the iconic dishes/restaurants. Nothing matches the satisfaction I get after tasting something new and delicious!

In terms of our travel budget, we fall somewhere between budget travelers and luxury travelers. I splurge on experiences like food, adventure activities but try to cut down on things like accommodation, souvenir shopping.
